Store Manager

Job Summary:

As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the store, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets. You will lead and develop a team of sales associates, manage inventory, and uphold the brand’s visual and operational standards. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring the store achieves its performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Performance Management
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective store management and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze sales reports and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop action plans to maximize store performance and enhance customer experience.
  • Customer Experience:
  • Ensure a welcoming and engaging shopping environment that resonates with the brand’s image.
  • Train and mentor staff on customer service best practices and product knowledge.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and develop store associates to create a high-performing team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that motivates employees and promotes collaboration.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Oversee inventory levels and stock management, ensuring timely replenishment and loss prevention measures.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and manage visual merchandising to align with brand standards.
  • Collaborate with the corporate team on inventory forecasting and purchasing decisions.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
  • Manage store budgeting, payroll, and scheduling to optimize labor costs and maximize productivity.
  • Maintain the store’s cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation in accordance with brand guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role, preferably in fashion or apparel.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Solid understanding of retail operations, including sales forecasting, merchandising, and inventory management.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to drive sales performance.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Passion for fashion and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
